From politics to poetry

It's tempting, looking at the fall's books, to think of this as a political season. John Paul Stevens, Michele Bachmann and Condoleezza Rice are just some of the Washington insiders releasing books. That said, the biggest books this fall are works of fiction. Stephen King's "11/22/63," Haruki Murakami's "1Q84," and Jeffrey Eugenides' "The Marriage Plot" are only a couple of the autumn highlights. Genres such as poetry and graphic novels also have hotly anticipated titles coming out this fall.
