Throughout the psychological, sexual and painful personal vignettes in Rick Springfield's 2010 best-seller, "Late, Late at Night," the '80s pop star omits one crucial detail. He was 23, a touring singer, on a plane from Los Angeles to his home in Australia, with a layover in Honolulu. On the flight is none other than Elvis Presley. "He's a sweet guy and signs an autograph for my then-girlfriend in Australia, who's a fan," Springfield writes.
