 | 2nd brother gets lengthy prison term in firebombing death of Mundelein boy The Daily Herald reports: A second brother accused in the 2009 firebombing murder of a 12-year-old boy in Mundelein was sentenced today to a lengthy prison term. Edwin Hernandez, now 19, pleaded guilty in Lake County Court in the death of Jorge Juarez and the injury of his mother and sister, and was sentenced to 80 years in prison. Elver Hernandez, now 21, pleaded guilty and received 84 years in August, and a gang leader who ordered the 12-year-old’s older brother targeted is to appear in court Nov. 30. |
