Santorum suspends campaign for GOP presidential nomination: reports

Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum has suspended his campaign for the Republican presidential nomination, according to reports. Santorum, whose 3-year-old daughter was recently hospitalized because of a genetic disorder, is several hundred delegates behind the front-runner in the GOP race, former Mass. Gov. Mitt Romney.
