CME CEO Donohue to hand reins to Gill by May 23

CME Group Inc. Chief Executive Officer Craig Donohue, who has led the exchange operator since 2004, will leave the company, probably before its annual meeting next month, he said on Thursday.

A $10 million settlement related to the death of former Chicago Sun-Times owner James Tyree has been reached between his estate and the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he died in March 2011 partly due to a medical error.
