By Matt Pais • Metromix producer MOVIES Now in theaters "John Carter" Taylor Kitsch stars in this expensive disappointment, the first live-action feature from director Andrew Stanton ("Finding Nemo"). "Silent House" Elizabeth Olsen anchors this creepy thriller that boasts an excellent gimmick and an arbitrary ending. "A Thousand Words" Eddie Murphy can't bring the funny to this comedy, in which Jim Carrey's lucky not to be involved. "Friends with Kids" Just because this romantic dramedy shares cast members with "Bridesmaids" doesn't mean "Kids" is nearly as enjoyable. "Salmon Fishing in the Yemen" Sound super interesting, right? Despite Emily Blunt's charm, "Yemen" is a bore. "Being Flynn" Robert De Niro and Paul Dano star in this sporadically insightful adaptation of Nick Flynn's memoir.
